Ne Nebraska | Start Aug 10th here for 60 days. Want a big calf going into winter. No creep, just keep free choice bales available on cornstalks.
Only problem I've had is pneumonia in the calves with the hot days and cool nights.
Works for me for all the reasons above posters listed
Only other arrangement for me would be May/June calving season, which as I approach retirement can see happening. | |
