0 to 6 in soil testing is to sell fertilizer. That's why crop removal fertility is called a theory because there's no science behind it.
Retail agronomyis book keeping. It teaches us how to manage inputs. It has no accountability for the biological function of the soil and it teaches us nothing about functioning soil.
Your soil test is better to be used as a measure of function than a gas gauge
This is probably the best example we've seen on this site that shows how it is possible that you can deplete your available pool. But you will never ever mine the geological pool. | |
