Some beans are worth $56 and some aren't worth having if they are free. Unless you are buying a commodity bean (offered in different bags), price is less important than performance. There are easily 5-10 bushel swings in performance caused by genetic differences, knowledge to properly place beans, etc.


Can you name a bean that isn’t a “commodity bean” by your definition?
