Nope.........you're thinking wrong again. Highest power consumption in America is right when the sun goes down..........and everyone gets home from work. No one wants a brown out.......so base load generation has to kick in. So we build the big base load plants...........and then society wants to idle them back when the renewables are kicked in. The economy just doesn't work that way in the real world. Sorry.
