E ND | I don't know anything about Missouri conditions, but just thinking on the overgrazed comment, do you ever drag pastures like that to bust up and spread out the manure? Seems like overgrazing leads to noticeable avoidance zones and areas of no or slow spring growth under the patties. Might not seem like much but if the ground is fit and you have a good tool for it, might wake it up a little earlier and get the stand more even along with your clover.
When you say overseeded I assume you broadcast the clover and that it hasn't had any iron on the dirt. Running the no-trill drill over it may help also more than it would set back your clover. | |
