There are other fittings that fit the rapid air tubing. It's tubing sized, so it would be no problem to adapt it to something else later on. Plus, my understanding is that the tubing product is pretty widely used commercially. Even if Rapid air were to go out of business the tubing should still be available, or adapters to get it to whatever you want.
