Rock meet hard place. That is what we are between.
Let inflation run and kick the currency destruction down the road, or raise interest rates and bring the economy to its knees? The latter better long term but the former more expedite and gets people elected by promising free stuff.
Guess which we will get? Probably both at different sequenced times. We'll get slapped around. My bet is the easiest first. We are already there.
