Latimer Iowa
We are notill and the self propelled was very heavy on 4 tires. With the pull type we have 10 tires on the ground for a rig similar in weight. Much much less rutting of fields if they are sprayed a little wet with the tractor. It’s fairly common here for guys to make a ripper pass, just doing where the sprayer drove, in the fall on bean stubble to try and close wheel tracks from their self propelled. If the time doing tillage to remediate ruts is factored in the pull type is faster then The Hagie was.

Different scenarios, different solutions.
