It doesn’t take long of combining root lodged corn to make you really question the management choices you made 6 months ago.  

The extra time, fuel and wear on the corn head and combine will pay for a lot of insecticide or traited seed.      And that’s not even mentioning the possibility of 100 bpa yield loss.
