Wrong! If NATO countries kicked us out it would be a huge disadvantage for us and a colossal win for Russia & China. The only reason we're so good at being anywhere, anytime is because we have bases all over NATO countries with firepower, people, and equipment at the ready. Take that away, and sure we have oceans between us, but we'd eventually be sitting ducks fully surrounded.
