I really want Trump to succeed for everyone`s own good. However on this war thing, right now it was a success and he could back away a winner, the Ayatollah and other bigwigs taken out, probably could spin it that "the nuke is 18 months further back ect, ect, " . What Trump needs to do now is get Congress approval, I know it`s 50/50 or less that he would get it, but IMO he needs congress`s fingerprints on this too. Because these foreigners know this and can run out the clock and if Iran turns into a quagmire it could be a generation (country won`t last that long) before another Republican POTUS.

John Wayne once said "War isn`t for aunt Emma in her tennis shoes" (about Vietnam) and that`s right. If Trump`s end goal is regime change (or something less bad than the Ayatollah ) Iran is going to be a drawn out conflict with all kinds of boots on the ground, the people don`t have a stomach for that.

On this whole war deal, I wonder if like the hard money crowd often claims that when money is printed, it has to be spent into existence (for there not to be inflation) and I wonder if that isn`t part of what`s going on here. Money has to be printed just to service the debt and unfortunately war can be a good excuse,
