I remember reading here in the last couple years a post from someone smarter than me that said to temper expectations when “unknown” buys corn. Many times it can be any number of Euro countries buying, and that Japan buys under “unknown” as well.
I know Joe Vaclavik has mentioned this before on his podcast as well. Soybeans it often, but not always, means China but corn it really isn't the same sort of indicator, lots of major importers use it as you said. |
