If you get well then you no longer go to the doctor and you stop taking medicine. A healthy person doesn’t generate revenue. Not saying this is true of every single person in those industries. I know some who do their best for their patients but the system is rigged against them. As my wife gets check ups for her breast cancer the doctors often say something to the effect that “this” (whatever the subject is at the moment) is what is deemed the “standard of care.” Some doctors recognize that one size does not fit all, but they are in the minority. |
