South Eastern VA | I see a lot of people saying corn roots don’t go as wide as some suggest so close to the plant is better. I thought “Well yeah!” even Stevie Wonder could see that. Lol
This would be in 30 or wider rows obviously. If you’re in 20 or less then the middle is probably okay. Without a tissue test though it’s all just guessing. As we all know looks can be deceiving.
Ive seen beautiful corn with nutrient deficiency before so maybe there’s another way to test it?
