If you’re not typically in an area with rootworm pressure, I’d have traps out, and plan on beetle bombing. Beetle bombing will end up probably costing less than the traits or insecticides.

A lot of it has to do with soil texture and weather too. Lots or rain in may and June is hard on them. And they don’t seem to be as much of an issue in sandy soils.
