Ne Nebraska | 2 ppl is doable, cart driver just has to get in and out a lot, and get the hang of getting bagger steering wheel lined up right at the beginning of each dump. One key is to have a big hopper on combine to allow more time to get back. In 250+ bu corn with 12 row head running 4.5mph I can be back before he is full on close side of field, but he has to wait 2-3 minutes if on far side of quarter. Still super efficient for a 2 man show. Can take out a whole pivot in a good day with just 2 ppl, if your ducks are in a row. In a limited man power operation they are key to a fast harvest. | |
