Southern Missouri | One thing makes me wonder this is a lot of chicken houses in our area and they mix rice hulls across the floors of the chicken houses then clean that out with the chicken poop mixed in the rice hulls for around 50 to 60 a ton and the claims they make on nutrients is pretty high , the coverage that hits the soil to be 2 ton to acre youn can hardly see , especially compared to the 2 inch long by 1/2 inch diameter goose turds laying everywhere, would be my guess that an acre of it picked up would outweigh what the chicken guys sell us , but not very scientifically diagnosed:) | |
