They’re actually tuff and the outsides have never got damaged——I have both round and rectangular.

Maybe fact they taper towards bottom helps.

I’ve had full and frozen solid—no damage.

What really hurts them is sharp hooves—in the tank!

I use 3 post system on the round ones——a rail in contact with tank, all around——they’ll blow away here.

And 2x8 higher up. Some, I’ve had them put 3 or 4” female coupler in center bottom——screw pipe into that, then bring supply line thru that—
