Dad did in the 50s and 60s.

I think the cobs get sorted out quite a bit, and it wouldn’t be the best practice for raising 1000 head. But for a few, it sure can work.

I think a finer screen would be better, but that gets to be very slow grinding to get the cob through a small screen.
