Subject: RE: Insurance for hauling cattle

NW Iowa
I have my cows on my policy for yrs, it's part of the farm blanket. farm multiperil
You have to have actual cash value insured to at least 80% value of total number on hand.
About $4/$1000.
You could play with the total number on hand with the insured, as long as you didn't have total loss.
Not just for transport, but flood, drowning, animal attacks, shooting, loading, overturn, electrical and lightning,
Blizzard, hypo, asphyxiation is separate policy, called extended policy. for $3/1000.
My bull is listed on his own for replacement cost also.
