Regenerative ag practices do work. That has been proven. However they work differently, at different rates, in different parts of the country. Regenerative ag practices can take many years to fully realize the benefits. There are a lot of pitfalls and potential errors in management that can cause yield loss.

It was definitely rough for us the first few years as we began implementing our practices, namely planting green into high biomass cover crops. But we stuck with it and figured out how to mitigate the risks. And we still have problems pop up that we have to find solutions for. But after 11 years, we’re seeing greater and greater results every year.

My general philosophy is unless someone asks me my opinion, I keep my opinion to myself. Your friend probably needs you to be a friend right now, not an advisor.
