If you have been farming through it you could check into CRP grassed waterways. They pay ALOT better for construction and pay you current rental rates after construction. I have a LARGE project to be completed this spring. It is getting re-enrolled into CRP from expiration last year as I had same issues as you but mine was already no till. Most of the area had originally been seeded in 1991 as ACR (set-aside) on my dime the first year I owned it. It later got put into general CRP before there was a separate grassed waterway CRP. It survived 10 years of general CRP and was re-enrolled twice into CRP grassed waterways still not reshaping or reseeding as they were still functioning after 34 years. FSA will pay close to 90% of the six digit bill but it will take several years and hurdles to jump to accomplish that. | |
