Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Being dry and having cover crops are not a good combination in my opinion. I know in Illinois you get a lot more rain than we do so most of the time covers should work. But if he’s been dry, that might be hurting more than helping.
Otherwise I don’t think he’s too far wrong. Should take some soil tests to see in nutrients and PH is in balance. |
