Southern Illinois | Again, I don’t know enough about this style of farming to say it’s wrong. He just told me over the weekend that if it doesn’t get better in 2026 he may have to sell a piece of ground to get out of hock and I don’t want to see that happen. I know a lot of us are down and out right now so even if he did it a different way he would likely still have some liquidity troubles like a lot of farmers. My intent is not to step on anyone’s toes. If this program creates success, I’m all on board. I am just looking for opinions on people that have experience with it. If it works great, I’m happy and maybe I need to adjust. | |
