Do you own the cattle pot and trailer? Or are you talking about hiring a pot or trailer to have your cattle hauled? Very big difference. I asked these exact same questions with my insurance agent last week. My cattle are covered in my truck and trailer IF I have those cattle listed on my policy. If I hire a bull rack to take a load of fats to Green Bay, I have to make sure that the trucker I hired has cargo insurance that is high enough to cover the costs of all my fats if a wreck would happen.
