Fairbury, NE (Southeast) | Plant half of it to milo and offer it up for custom grazing after harvest at 2.50 a day. Who knows might get some takers. With the lack of snow anymore it is less appealing. Having milo saved me from buying feed in 2009-10 armageddon situation.
Plant corn at 20k and let er rip. Should only need 120 lb of N if you put it on after emergence for 130-150 yield goal but not in your area so idk. Who knows maybe N will come down by then.
