Bill,  Do you have alfalfa weevil in the spring in alfalfa in your area?  I don't think any alfalfa has genetic resistance for alfalfa weevils.  So, if you have issues with weevils, you are going to need to spray for it, regardless whether you have RR alfalfa or not.
