South Central MN | We had two major hail events in 2023 - one in August and one in October. Some people in our area replaced their roofs twice because of it. I haven't heard anything good about the way State Farm handled those claims, but I didn't ask the details. We have North Star Mutual and I was very happy with our adjuster and the way our claim was handled. Our house and farm insurance has gone up like everything else seems to. About four years ago, it was $9,780/year and now it's about $12,600. I do believe we did increase some values on things.
Edit because I re-read your post to see what was insured. In our case, it's a machine shed, equipment, grain bins and dryer on one site and our house and freestanding garage (new), plus some very old buildings where we live.
