SW Wisconsin | My property isurance on the farm went up 38% in 2025.
I had one claim for a snapped axle on my grain cart ($1500) in 25 years.
Company said the industry has consolidated and paying too many claims for hurricanes and fires.
Roof repairs now have a higher deductable and I am looking at metal shingles for the house.
When I add up all the types of insurance (property, auto, health, dental, eye, life) I realize that it is a big expense.
