| This bill is dead in the senate, which is actually a benefit for the Republicans. I believe you are correct in the bill being disproportionately more of detriment to conservative voters. By grandstanding for passage of bill, this allows for the continued unfounded notion that elections are stolen which has become a plank in the Conservative Party
If true voter ID were implemented the onus of poof of voter id should be placed on the government. Why make an individual gather birth, marriage, divorce and immigrant status. Government already has all this information Create a national database that determines citizenship for voting. | |
