So I talked to woman, who I believe previous husband was dead, so she couldn't get divorce paperwork she needed on name change. Not sure if she figured out what she would have to do or not.
At some point in time these women need to take some personal responsibility for getting their own paperwork in order.
At some point in the future she will need/want to be able to prove who she is. She'll need to find that birth certificate and prove citizenship to collect social security and/or sign up for medicare.
