Idaho | It seems like I am noticing a bigger difference between companies “cost to service” when talking with them this year. Almost seem like a lot of them are all procuring the material at similar prices and maybe even shooting for similar net returns but depending on the efficiency and scope of the sales store their cost of service can vary quite a bit.
When looking at this I am encouraged to look harder at my application business numbers. I think in service businesses we really have to focus on keeping that number in check. The balancing act of business is finding the happy medium. A low cost to service customers paired with the ability to scale or sit back when times are uncertain seems to be the most profitable but also normally means small debt high efficiency. | |
