Cullom, Illinois | What would be the best fence for 450# stocker cattle running on stalks in the fall? Calves are always a little more flighty than momma cows. High tensile is strongest but needs to be electric. Six strand barb is good but can really cut up a wild calf. Woven wire is probably the safest for both animals and keeping in the field. This would be only 160 acres so roughly three miles total with inside fence.
