Midwest | Cattle have spent a lot of time in uncharted territory. Nobody knows when the train will leave the station until it's gone out of site. All I know is that supplies are down, consumers seem to keep buying it, the drought in the southwest is devastating and long lasting. The screw worm issue is preventing Mexican supplies from entering the US. Looking at futures and trying to match it up to cash is just impossible. My take is the cycle is broken and long term will sit in a five buck trading range | |
