EC WI
We run an 10-34, 32, ATS, Zn,B, humic 2x0x2 with seed applied nutritional like Gro pak Ai. We spend 1 bu for the seed applied, right at $4/a.
Once we went to this and pulled the infurrow, it became easier in many ways from planter complexity, maintenance, overall fert cost.
All P for corn is applied at plant, soils are building P levels with humic and covers in rotation. This year was the nail in the coffin for us buying dry P. Yes, we spread K and cal sol or elemental in fall. Yields are increasing, N efficiency better, still tweaking and learning, but no way is dry broadcast at $50/a cutting it, there is always a better way.
