We’ve had bags for several years. We like them. Get about 12-15000 bu per bag. Depends on how tight you push the grain and the need of storage from a field. Son and I have a bagger and my brother also has bagger. We own the unloader together and help each other haul. If field is dry enough to place semi beside unloader and get started by 8 in the morning with 6-8 mile haul we can get two bags emptied/ day with 4 trucks rolling and headed home by 3-4 pm. Few weeks ago we emptied 20 bags in a short two week time frame. What I really like is in the fall we don’t need semi truck on road hauling all the time. Bag in field by combine and one or two grain carts and unload right there. We have some share farms and landlords like the idea that they don’t have to sell until a later date as their grain was also in bags. I know some on here don’t like DP but it is what it is when time to haul grain. We aren’t to keen on putting soybeans in bags and use our bins for them. There is always some draw back no matter if one’s grain is in a bag or in a bin. Ever get a dead squirrel stuck in the bottom unloader under the bin. That will make the non Christian language come out.
