The US appears to be transitioning from using its power to keep peace to using it to get what it can’t through diplomacy. Maybe it’s always been that way but I think it used to be more discrete. It’s blatantly raw.

Venezuela is an example. With current threats to Greenland, Canada and Cuba. It’s the new world order and our previous allies are drifting away from us. I think Grains will continue to be a bigger factor in bargaining as a result with the farmer paying the price.
