south central WI | I'm a little far away to buy ours, but we used a direct drive hammermill for quite a while. I'm drawing a blank on the brand name now,but they are affordable, brown in color. We bought a 2nd newer one with plans to run 2, we bought a bigger combine and 1 hammermill wasn't enough. It was an issue we never found a solution to, and bought a 48" hammermill instead. It would completely pulverize 30%+ hmc at about 900-1100 bu/hr. Would do more if not ground as fine. | |
