Central SD | Yes, no and maybe. There are still a lot of breeders that don’t turn in docility scores and rely only on genomic data that is heavily weighed in the wrong direction. I have seen some that were in the bottom 5% that were completely calm cattle even around strange people. The epd deal is not an absolute. I like calm cattle by the way. The genomics for feet and udders are much the same way. A lot of data is not turned in so the numbers are skewed. When the actual data is turned in the system is fairly reliable.
