Good luck on your quest.

AI - Mediterranean diet is a heart-healthy, plant-based eating pattern rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, legumes, and olive oil, with moderate fish intake.

AI Question - does Mediterranean diet have lots of antioxidants

Yes, the Mediterranean diet is exceptionally high in antioxidants, primarily due to its emphasis on plant-based foods, healthy fats, and herbs. It is rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, and vitamins, which reduce inflammation, ward off free radicals, and support heart health.

RE: Side effects statins

In order to find a replacement, what is it, and the dosage if done via supplements?

This graph, see pic below, suggests Berbevis® is a better product when compared to a product having the chloride mixture since the plasma level is much lower overtime. As noted in a previous post, Vit C & Berberine will get "dumped" into the toilet with higher plasma levels. Also, the trade rag article suggested Berberine can "...balance blood sugar, cholesterol and weight, among other potential metabolic benefits."

So, if the above metabolic outcomes are true, then Berbevis® would be a better product to use when compared to a chloride-mixture pill.
