Actually Archie it is the massive influx of ultra cheap Chinese food stuff. From Peaches to Honey ,to shrimp and crawdads. The labor is free in China, the freight is cheap, about 15 cents lb.to get any of it here.Human poop fed shrimp at dead lobster,no one cares.Put the butter to it.The ag chems to fight fungus/bacti on peach trees is unlimited in China. The blending of honey with high fructose is also done -=easy money. As in steak/burgers please buy USA grown.

Not an appetizing outlook.. but we’ve seen this coming for awhile.

Cheaper..

Land
Labor
Regulations
all the way through the chains.. farms.. processors.. transportation and retail.. all the same.. Cheaper than an Island of tariffs.

This is the future.

ICE is sending the workers back home.. everything else is going with them.

We can’t import cattle.. so ship the corn to Mexico.. soon Brazil, Mexico etc.. will over take the US.. just like Peaches and the rest of the high value crops.

only a matter of time.

only thing left here will be tariff taxes.
