The worst soil erosion I ever saw was a heavy rain on no-till and fall disked fields when the top 2 inches of frost were out. Basically 2 inches of soil washed away. The mold board fall plowed fields had a rough surface that did not wash one little bit. The no-till evangelists considered it a non event, nothing to see - move along.
