From Springfield to Sandborn more or less you can see a lot more of those tree lines than anywhere else. The winds get strong off the Buffalo Ridge, and the ground is a little lighter in some of those areas. I think I see a few less than I used to 40 years ago.
Why are there no tree lines in south western MN?
