Eastern NE KS | I have the exact same attitude with scales that bounce 5 lbs up and down from the calf moving. A key element is if I measure uniformly, the differences among animal is measured. The contemporary group's phynotyoe are recorded.
I used tape when measuring simmi calves. The big one o could not lift. Then I found a different method with a bathroom scale on plywood platform., calf on my knees me leaning over to read. Then I blew out my knee but I can still tape the hoof. | |
