Google is your friend. Google "Simmental bull sales" 2026 and see what pops up. You could narrow your search by putting in Iowa. If you want to buy in person, maybe you can find something close to you . For me a 4 or 5 hour drive is close. You can also find a bull you like in a catalogue and purchase online. Before you purchase, phone the breeder of who's bull you are interested in, ask if there is any way he can get a bull close to you or do a meet somewhere. I don't mind driving a few hours for a meet if the bull is coming from across the country. around here, many breeders will drop animals off at auction yards to pickup if meet times cannot be arranged. I have no issues in buying across the country as breeders usually have contacts within their breed or other breeds that can get bulls close to anywhere in the country. Before I buy anything, when I find something I am interested in, I go to the breed website and do my genetic research. Canadian bulls I go to the Canadian Simmental Association website, I am assuming the American Simmental Association has a mirror website. I do an animal search of the bull name and statistical data will pop up. You can research EPD's, performance, the dam and sire as well as the dam an sires progeny. If I am not going in person to sales, I also like lots of pictures as well as a video or 2. Not sure about all areas, but around here many breeders are putting individual Bull videos on youtube so online buyers can see how a bull walks. Good luck
