Subject: RE: Moldboard plowing

South Central MN
Moldboard plowing was very common here for corn on corn till about ten years ago. I bet there is still a significant yield bump in that situation about half the years( those being the cold cloudy ones). I have one field that has some low ph tests in the 0 to 6ā€ level but I guarantee the 6 to 12ā€ is close to neutral and I’d like to plow it and mix those two layers together. The challenge is it takes a big horse to plow an honest 12ā€ deep.
