NWIL | When dealer insisted on bringing out a new Magnum in 1989 or thereabouts. Dad had a TW-30 as his field tractor and a 1086 for planting and hay. They hooked the chisel on it and to the field the salesman and Dad went, with the guy flipping the switch on and off. I got off the school bus that afternoon, about second grade I think, and Dad was sitting there waiting for me to go off plowing with him, and he did the switch flipping thing. The next year a MFD 7120 showed up, and its still here. It was the big tractor on the farm up til four years ago when I bought a 315. Funny how things change, it went from being the big tractor to now I have a loader on it and its my main chore tractor for feeding and moving bales now that I'm heavily into wrapped wet bales. | |
