Back in early 2000’s we did half a field moldboard plowed and half deep chiseled with a row of parabolic shanks on the back. It was wheat stubble and was the last field we did as fall tillage before winter. We could see the line in weed control, plant health, and some yield gain for the following 3 years easily. This field was a long term conventional tilled field program anyways. Everything else was done the same.
So yes, it’s absolutely possible from what I experienced.
