I saw this article posted elsewhere yesterday. This site is mostly midwest corn and beans but it was interesting to read about the problems in the CA peach orchard business with the closing of the local Del-Monte canning plant due to bankruptcy:
I also found it interesting that there are quite a few Sikh farmers in the central valley in the orchard business. Never knew that and they have been there a long time.
