Southeast Colorado | I've been scanning around the internet today.........and it looks like a 100 watt panel will produce 4 to 500 Watts per day on average. So perhaps that's 4 times the size needed. But leaves lots of room to catch up after cloudy days. Obviously I'd need some type of a controller to keep the batter from boiling over.
I also read where the rule of thumb is 10 watts of solar panel for each 1 Joule of charger output. That'd put the 3000 charger at 30 Watts. But I'm not sure if that leaves you any excess charging power.........or just keeps up with the charger on sunny days. | |
